Troy police are searching a suspect in connection with the city's seventh homicide of the year. They say a 23-year-old man was shot in the area of Fourth Street and Adams Street last night. Albany police are still looking into a shooting that left a teenager dead and a man injured. According to investigators, the victims were in a car on Southern Boulevard yesterday when they were ambushed by a gunman. A 17-year-old boy died at the scene while a 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK. Police say the victims were targeted and witnesses reported they had attended a funeral moments before the gunfire.

Two more shootings took place in Albany Monday night, with one proving fatal. A 19-year-old man was shot in the arm and torso on Moore Street. He died after being taken to Albany Med. Shortly before that shooting, officers responded to the area of Beverly and Pennsylvania Avenues for a shots fired report. Shortly after the call, staff from Albany Memorial Hospital notified police that a man entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the leg.
