Two Albany men have been charged with second degree murder in connection with a shooting in Albany last June.
24-year-old Jaiquan Allah and 29-year-old Olajuwon Johnson were charged with the death of Willie Hooks, on North Lake Avenue, on June 20th. Allah also faces a charge of criminal possession of a weapon. And Johnson was also charged with criminal facilitation and hindering prosecution. Both pleaded not guilty and were sent to jail without bail.
