For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic started, the number of new cases in Albany County have surpassed the 200 mark.

There were a total of 205 additional infections reported Tuesday, however only 48 of them had a clear source of transmission. Experts believe things are only going to get worse once more cases are connected to Thanksgiving gatherings. Anyone with questions about the virus is asked to first visit the county website before calling the health department.
