Airlines to Start Testing Travelers From U.K. to NY for Coronavirus

Starting this week, airlines with routes from the United Kingdom to New York will start testing travelers for the coronavirus.

Governor Cuomo says Virgin Atlantic, Delta Airlines and British Airways have all agreed to conduct the screenings. There are concerns that a more potent mutation of COVID-19 that's been spreading overseas could infect people here. The governor has already asked the federal government to impose enhanced travel restrictions on the U.K.
