The horse that captured the hearts of Capital Region racing fans won't be back on the track in 2021.
The owners of Travers Stakes and Belmont Stakes winner Tiz the Law say the champion thoroughbred has to retire due to a leg problem. The injury was first noticed earlier this week during an exercise run in Florida. Tiz the Law won six of his nine career starts, earning over $2.7 million.
