The Federal Emergency Management Agency is going to be handing over $934 million to New York State.

That money will be used to help cover the projected costs of COVID-19 vaccine distribution. So far, FEMA has sent the state half of the total amount, with the funds going towards things like paying medical staff, buying personal protective equipment and public awareness campaigns. Right now, the state is in the process of vaccinating millions of residents against coronavirus.
