After having last week off, members of the New York State Legislature will be back in session Monday.

Since they last met, controversy has continued to grow over how Governor Cuomo's administration has handled nursing home patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some Republicans have called for the creation of an impeachment commission to investigate the issue and report back to lawmakers. Members of both parties are also considering stripping Governor Cuomo of the emergency powers he was granted during the early days of the health crisis.
