Coming in April: Domestic Travelers Won't Need to Quarantine in New York

Beginning on April 1st, quarantine for domestic travel will no longer be required after coming to New York from another state or territory. However, the state Department of Health does still recommend quarantine after domestic travel as a precaution, but it is no longer required.

Domestic travelers must continue to monitor symptoms for 14 days and immediately self-isolate if any symptoms develop.

Mandatory quarantine remains in effect for international travelers.
