Governor Cuomo is surrounding himself with supporters and keeping the press away at coronavirus events as he deals with sexual harassment allegations.
Monday, the governor was at Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon where the pastor went on and on praising the governor for his leadership. Last week, former longtime Congressman Charles Rangel went out of his way to back the governor at an event. Reporters have not been invited to these events, but Cuomo has held separate briefings for the press to field questions related to coronavirus. He has said lately he won't comment on questions regarding numerous women accusing the governor of sexual misconduct.
