A senior advisor to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik says the 21st District representative isn't ruling out a run for governor next year.
Alex DeGrasse tells The Daily Gazette that the four-term Republican is continuing to build support and would be the strongest GOP candidate in both a primary and gubernatorial race. He went on to say that any decision would be made on Stefanik's timetable and no one else's. Stefanik has feuded with Governor Cuomo for months, calling him the worst governor in America. The governor hasn't said yet if he'll seek a fourth term in office.
