In a new Siena poll out Monday morning, Governor Cuomo’s favorability, job performance and re-election ratings all continue to head in a downward trend.

His favorability rating is now 40 % positive and 52 % negative, down from recent polling. A majority of New Yorkers continue to say that Cuomo should not resign, by 51 % to 37 %, and 52 % believe he can effectively do his job as governor. Those numbers are very close to March's results. By a 44 %-22 % margin, voters think Cuomo has committed sexual harassment. Looking to the future, 33 % are prepared to re-elect Cuomo next year if he runs, compared to 57 % who prefer "someone else".
