Albany Police Identify 18-Year-Old Victim of Deadly Shooting

Albany police have identified the 18-year-old woman who was shot and killed in the city earlier this week.

According to investigators, Chyna Forney was found Monday afternoon on Essex Street near Rawson Street with a gunshot wound to her back. Forney was rushed to Albany Medical Center but later pronounced dead. She was a student at Albany Leadership Charter High School For Girls, and counseling is being offered there to both her classmates and teachers. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
