A ninth member of the New York Yankees organization has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Manager Aaron Boone says another staff member had positive test results come back Saturday night. He did not detail who the staffer was, but Boone says he is not part of the coaching staff. That staff member is in quarantine in Baltimore. Gleyber Torres is, so far the only player to have tested COVID positive. All the members of the organization who have tested positive were fully vaccinated. Boone says the team continues to work hard to keep everyone safe and healthy.
