New York State is putting up quite a large amount of money to urge people to get themselves vaccinated against COVID-19.
As part of the "Vax and Scratch" program, a lot of folks who receive vaccine next week will get a free lottery scratch-off ticket that could be worth up to $5 million. The promotion runs this coming Monday through next Friday at some of the state's mass vaccination sites. So far, over 18-million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Empire State.
