Travelers at Albany International Airport will have the chance to get vaccinated against COVID-19 this week.

From Monday until Friday, walk-up appointments are going to be available on a first come, first served basis. The one-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine is being distributed instead of the two-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Officials say pop-up immunization clinics like the one taking place at the airport have been a very vital tool in the battle against coronavirus.
