Eight of the best horses in the country will be competing for glory this weekend just outside of New York City.
The 2021 Belmont Stakes is being run Saturday evening at Belmont Park with oddsmakers deeming Essential Quality as the early morning-line favorite. There will be no Triple Crown up for grabs since the winners of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes aren't competing. Last year, Tiz the Law won the Belmont for Sackatoga Stable.
