Albany International Airport Holds 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

A ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks was held at Albany International Airport Saturday morning. Among the attendees were Albany County Executive Dan McCoy and Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. Airport CEO Philip Calderone laid a wreath at airport memorial that reads 'Guard and Guide Those That Fly.'

In addition, Governor Hochul has ordered several state landmarks to be lit in blue in honor of the anniversary, this includes the Gateway to Albany International Airport.
