Update 1:49pm: A FLOOD ADVISORY has been issued for Saratoga and Washington Counties until 4:45pm.

Update 1:39pm: A FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect for Saratoga, Schenectady, and Montgomery Counties until 4:30pm.

Update 1:10pm: A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING in effect for Fulton, Montgomery and Saratoga, Schenectady and Schoharie counties until 1:45pm

Update 12:41pm: The National Weather Service has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for Montgomery, Schenectady, and Schoharie counties until 1:30pm.

Update 11:59am: The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the area until 8pm.

Strong storms are possible throughout the Capital Region today. Forecasters stay thunderstorms late this afternoon into tonight could bring damaging winds, large hail and torrential downpours. Conditions could even allow for the possibility of a tornado in some areas.
