Shooting in Albany Kills One Man, Injures Six Others

A shooting incident late Saturday night in Albany killed one man and injured six others. Albany Police officers responded to the 100 block of North Lake Avenue for reports of shots fired, when they got there, they found 29-year-old Alexander Bolton of New Bedford, Massachusetts with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Six other men entered the emergency room at Albany Med with gunshot wounds. The men's injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. Their ages range from 25 to 42 years old.

At this time, no suspects have been announced. Albany police say they believe the men with gunshot wounds were shot during the same incident on North Lake Avenue.
