Village of Ballston Spa mayor Larry Woolbright has stepped down unexpectedly. During a virtual meeting Monday night, Woolbright said a 'strained and adversarial' relationship with the village's board of trustees prompted his decision to resign - saying they block him at every turn. Woolbright, a republican, was elected to a 4 year term in 2019. He said his last day will be this Friday.
