Colonie Residents to Decide Who Will Become Next Town Supervisor

Residents in the Town of Colonie will be choosing Tuesday who is going to be their Town Supervisor for the next two years.

Democrat Kelly Mateja is taking on Republican Peter Crummey to see who will replace incumbent Paula Mahan, who said earlier this year she wasn't going to run for re-election. Mateja says if elected, she'll focus on community outreach and getting residents more involved in government. Crummey, who stepped down as a town justice to run for supervisor, says the biggest thing he'd address right away is the town's aging infrastructure.
