Dozens of Capital Region residents have been indicted in connection with a large drug distribution ring.

The state Attorney General's Office says the ring was centered in Fulton County but the suspects trafficked drugs such as methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine throughout the area including Montgomery, Schenectady and Saratoga counties. The investigation, titled "Operation Garage Days," lasted over a year and also led to guns and cash being seized. In a statement, Attorney General Letitia James said drugs have devastated too many communities and that these arrests are a big step towards keeping people safe.
