The man who led police on a high-speed chase that ended with a deadly crash on the Northway has pleaded guilty.

Prosecutors say Sklyer Crouse triggered the 2019 pursuit that reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour. The chase ended when Crouse got off of Exit 25 on the highway and later slammed his vehicle into a truck driven by Joseph Turcotte, who died as a result of the impact. Court records say Crouse was under the influence of multiple substances at the time of the crash. As part of his plea deal, Crouse will be spending the next 15 years behind bars.
