Albany International Airport is making it easier for travelers who use electric vehicles to charge up their set of wheels.
On Tuesday, airport officials announced the addition of 16 more electric charging stations, bringing the total number of those stations on airport property to 32. Electricity for the stations will be generated by the over 140 solar panels at the airport. As of October, there were more than 6,000 electric vehicles registered in the airport's market area.
