Judge Rejects No-Prison Plea Deal in Connection With Schoharie Limo Crash

A judge has rejected a plea deal that would've meant no prison time for the operator of the limousine involved a deadly crash in Schoharie nearly four years ago.

The tragedy on October 6th, 2018 killed all 17 limo passengers who were on their way to a birthday party, along with the driver and two bystanders. Nauman Hussain had been expected to be sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to 20 counts of criminally negligent homicide. But, the judge suggested Hussain spend between 16 months and four years behind bars. A meeting will be held later this month to set a trial date.
