Animals that were displaced when Hurricane Ian devastated parts of Florida last week will be arriving in the Capital Region on Wednesday.

The Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville is teaming up with the BISSELL Pet Foundation to care for the animals at the APF's location on Maple Avenue. Cats that were up for adoption ahead of the storm are going to be spending some time in the area while other animals will be sent to shelters in Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Ontario, Canada.
