The latest data from the state shows the spread of the coronavirus is on the rise once again in the Capital Region.

Currently, the seven-day average infection rate is sitting at 6.09%. At this time last week, the infection rate was 5.77%. As a reminder, anyone who wants to get a COVID-19 shot or booster dose can schedule an appointment online at vaccines.gov.
