The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is set to host a public meeting tonight (April 6) at 6:15 p.m. at the Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls. This meeting will discuss upcoming service changes aimed at enhancing the customer experience for riders in Glens Falls.

CDTA has been operating in Glens Falls since January 2024, following the merger with Greater Glens Falls Transit. With over two years of ridership and service data collected, the agency is now prepared to implement changes that will improve service reliability and efficiency. According to the CDTA, the updates will be rolled out in two phases. The first phase is scheduled to begin on May 24, focusing on optimizing schedules. The second phase, planned for August, will enhance service levels based on community feedback and ridership needs.

During the meeting, CDTA officials will provide an overview of current services, engage in map exercises, and conduct one-on-one conversations with attendees. The feedback gathered will be crucial in shaping the second phase of service updates. NEWS10 reports that the meeting is an opportunity for the community to voice their opinions and contribute to the future of public transportation in Glens Falls.
