The investigation continues into what sparked a massive fire that destroyed a welding shop in Colonie.
The blaze at the business on Spruce Street happened Monday and when the first crews arrived at the scene, they spotted heavy smoke and saw flames that were shooting high into the air. There were also several explosions and the fire damaged a nearby home. The two people inside that residence were able to escape and weren't injured.
