It'll Be a Snowy Commute Home in the Capital Region Tuesday

A Winter storm warning is in effect for many counties to the East and West of Albany and parts of Saratoga county, with the rest of the area under a Winter Weather Advisory

Snow, possibly heavy at times, begins falling steadily Tuesday afternoon and will be heaviest Tuesday night. It will wind down in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

Travel on the ride home Tuesday could be difficult. The immediate Capital Region will get a total of 3-6 inches of snow from this system and more in higher elevations.

After the snow, arctic air moves in giving us a high of 19 degrees on Wednesday and only a high of 10 degrees on Thursday.
