A substitute bus driver has gone above and beyond his duty. He was filling in on a route that drove special needs kids to and from school. One girl stuck out to him because everyday her mom struggled to get her out of the house and onto the bus. Lydia, a third grader, is wheelchair bound and non verbal. Her mom struggled getting her out of the house because she didn't have the proper ramp. That's when the bus driver stepped in with a few of his friends and built her a new one.
And, over the weekend, pet lovers went bowling for a cause. Paws is a program run by the Albany Damien Center which helps people living with HIV take care of there pets. You can learn more about the program here.
