Sheriff Apple: Housing Illegal Immigrants, "The Right Thing to Do"

Over 230 illegal immigrants are currently being held at the Albany County Jail. They are being offered pro bono legal advice, translators and phones to communicate with loved ones. Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple addresses the fact that some people may disagree with the jail holding the immigrants, but he states that Albany gets a few benefits from it too. The County will be charging the federal government a few million dollars to house the immigrants. 

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple joined Chuck and Kelly to talk about he made the decision to open the facility to the illegal immigrants.
