Thanks, but no thanks. Maurice Rucker is turning thumbs down on Home Depot's offer to come back to work. Rucker was recently fired after he confronted a customer who hurled racist and vulgar comments and threats at him. Initially, the company said he should have gotten in touch with a manager to help defuse the situation, but offered him his job back a couple of days ago. Rucker says part of the reason for his refusal is economic but also says he doubts Home Depot's sincerity in offering him his job back. Instead, he thinks it's more of a reaction to the media coverage and community outrage.
