Evelyn Drake passed away on July 20th and within 48 hours her beloved husband of 78 years followed. The obituary (click here to read it) says "Gilbert always said ladies before gentleman, and it was that way right to the end."
Evelyn ran a nursery school out of her home in Glenmont and Gilbert was a veteran having served in World War II.
