Every year the Marine Corp League collects toys for their Toys for Tots program than benefits children that may otherwise not get any gifts during the holiday season.
After toys are collected, Amtrak would then charter a train to deliver the toys. That is, until this year. Due to new policy guidelines, Amtrak says they will not be able to participate in the Toys for Tots program.
