Time Matters - You've got about 90 seconds to get out of the plane.
Fitness - Young, slender men have the best odds of survival.
Big Plane - The bigger planes can absorb more impact than smaller ones.
5 Row Rule - You are at greater odds of survival within 5 rows of the exit.
Normalcy Bias - Think and act quickly. This is not a "normal" situation.
The Safety Card - Read it. It's there for a reason.
Plus 3/Minus 8 - 80% of plane incidents happen 3 minutes after takeoff or 8 minutes before landing.
Oxygen Mask - Get it on immediately.
Brace Positions - They work.
Carry On Baggage - Forget it.
