Hump Day Happy Hour: Vets Honored in Schenectady

There was a great tribute in Schenectady to our veterans over the weekend.  Officials unveiled the newly refurbished "George Westinghouse and Bellevue Veterans Park". The  renovations at the park included a new flagpole, refurbished memorial plaques, monument restoration, new lighting and new signage.

We told you about Convoy for a cause. Well, there's another story of truckers rallying together.

A teenager in Wisconsin has cerebral palsy and some developmental issues and he loves trucks more than anything. His family's yard faces a highway and he likes to sit outside and get truckers to honk as they pass by.

Last month, his mother noticed a small model truck sitting in the yard and realized one of the truckers must have placed it there for him. She went on Facebook looking for the driver to thank him. That's when a bunch of other trucker's decided to do something pretty amazing for the kid's 16th birthday. Last weekend, truckers from all over the country, showed up, all in one place. 200 tractor trailers all in one parking lot with over 1,000 people on hand to wish him a happy birthday. The kid got to ride around in a golf cart to see every single one of them.
