The Fonda Fair and local truckers did again this year for WGY Christmas Wish. The "Convoy for a Cause" featured more than 240 trucks and raised $4,300 for Christmas Wish and another $4,300 for Leatherstocking Honor Flight.
In California, a nurse has worked in the NICU for the last 32 years. Recently, a new doctor started working there. They instantly hit it off and she felt like she knew him from somewhere.
He revealed to her that he had been born in that hospital... and it clicked. She asked him if his father was a police officer. He was and as it turns out, she had cared for him as a baby because he was born prematurely.
She even dug out a photo she had of them when he was in the NICU. The new doctor says he feels like he has come full circle helping babies alongside the nurse who helped him as a newborn.
