White Supremacist Group Surfaces at UAlbany

About a dozen flyers were posted around the UAlbany campus last month in efforts to recruit members to the white supremacist group, Identity Evropa. The school however is saying that there is no evidence that students were involved in posting them and the posters have been taken down because they violate the rule that states that the group must be a recognized organization.

Identity Evropa is best known for planning the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Va., where a white supremacist drove his car into a crowd of protestors, killing one.

The group describes itself as an "identitarian" group that seeks to preserve "white European culture" in the United States.

UAlbany says that there is no active group at the University nor do they believe students are trying to form one.
