President Trump is expected to have lunch with Kanye West at the White House today. Earlier this week, Trump said he is thrilled to have him visit and called him a "terrific guy." The President said West has expressed gratitude to him for an decrease in African-American unemployment.
The rapper is expected to talk with the President and top adviser Jared Kushner about prison reform and reducing violence in America. Not everyone is impressed with West's support of the president. A CNN panel mocked the rapper, calling him the President's "token negro". Tara Setmeyer said that the black community is going to trade in Kayne's race card.
