Happy Hour: 91-Year-Old Vet Drives Army Tank

For a 91-year old local veteran it was the ride of a lifetime and a wish come true. George Fink said driving an army tank was always on his bucket list, and he finally got a chance to do it last week at Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course in Greenville. George enlisted in the Army at 18 and served overseas in Germany, transporting broken tanks, but was never able to drive a working one.

Two of George's younger friends say with the help of Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell where George now lives they were happy to make the special day happen.

An elementary school custodian in Alabama got quite the surprise when he got a call to help clean up a "huge" accident in the gym. When he walked in, armed with a mop, he was greeted by the entire school - teachers, staff and kids. They were holding signs and yelling surprise. It was National Custodian Day and they wanted to show Mr. Eugene how much they appreciated him.
