SCAM: NJ Couple and Homeless Man Made Up Story

If you’ve been following the story of the homeless man who helped a woman out there seems to be a plot twist.

If you recall, the homeless Johnny Bobbitt helped Kate McClure by giving her his last 20 dollars to fill her gas tank when her car ran out near downtown Philly. Mark D'Amico and his wife Kate then opened a GoFundMe to help Bobbitt out as a thank you for his kind act. The GoFundMe raised over $400,000 for the homeless Bobbitt. It turns out the whole thing may be a pile of bull.

A source says that the trio will face charges on a host of counts with theft by deception at the top. No official word has been said, but D’Amico and McClure turned themselves in yesterday. Bobbitt is still yet to be found.

If you donated to the GoFundMe page, your money is long gone.
