FaceTime Bug Allows People to Listen to You, Even if You Don't Answer

A bug was discovered in Apple's FaceTime that allows someone to listen through an iPhone even if that person did not answer the call.

The defect can be used by pacing a call through the FaceTime app then adding yourself to the call.

After the "add person" option is selected the called can then listen through the other person's phone before they answer the call and even if they never do.

The person being called isn't alerted that the other caller can hear them.

And, if the person being called hits the power button, the call transfers to video meaning that the video camera turns on and the caller can also view the person they've called.

Apple is working on a fix, but in the meantime has disabled the group chat feature.
