A proud papa in Washington shared a sweet video he made of interviews with his daughter Madison on her first days of school for the last 13 years. Kevin Scruggs has been documenting her first days since she was in kindergarten and now she’s graduating from high school and he’s created this heartwarming compilation for her.
The video starts with Madison’s first interview from Kindergarten, where the adorable little girl tells her dad she wants to go back to school everyday. It continues, year after year, until her senior year, where her dad asks, “What was your most favorite thing you did at school today?” And the teen tells him honestly, “Uh … leave. I was kind of done.”
It ends with a compilation of all the times the girl and her dad tell each other, “I love you.” It’s touching lots of hearts and since it was published on YouTube, it’s racked up more than 80,000 views. Madison enjoyed seeing herself grow up on the video and says, “I’m really appreciative of how much time my dad put into it, how much he loves us and how much he and my mom do for us.”
