A Belgium man set a new Guinness World Record by sitting on a toilet for 116 straight hours at a local pub.Jimmy De Frenne sat on the toilet, which was not hooked up to any plumbing, fully-clothed, in the main room of a bar in Ostend. He had set a goal of 165 hours, but was forced to stop after 116 when lack of sleep started to affect him.
Why did he choose this record to set? “Why not? There is nothing I like more than people making fun of me, because then I can do the same with them."
De Frenne was allowed five-minute breaks every hour to stretch and use a real toilet.
