Happy Hour: Woodward Strong Hosts Fundraiser For First Responders

There is great news regarding Albany Airport firefighter Josh Woodward. Woodward, who only had a 5% chance of surviving sepsis. After he lost a hand and his toes during the battle, he says he's almost fully recovered. So much so that he's now focusing on helping others.

Dozens came out to the Altamont Fairgrounds over the weekend for an event organized by local firefighters and included a performance from American Idol's Madison Vandenburgh, a BBQ and a dunk tank. The money raised goes to Woodward Strong Inc, an organization started by Josh and his wife Chelsea to help other first responders cope with their personal emergencies.

An Australian family took a trip to London, where they toured Buckingham palace. While they were there, their 5-year-old daughter left behind her beloved stuffed monkey. When the family returned to Australia without Harriet the monkey, they wrote a letter to Buckingham palace hoping that someone had turned her in.

They did find her. Not only that, the staff took photos of all of Harriet's adventures around Buckingham palace, including lunch outside and helping the employees lead tour groups. They gave her a name tag and everything, then they sent her back home to Australia, accompanied by a stuffed corgi similar to the Queen's dogs.
