Hot Mic Caught Post Debate Tiff Between Sanders and Warren

While they made nice before the cameras during Tuesday night’s debate, a hot mic revealed that Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders aren’t as friendly as they’d have you believe.

As you’ll recall, Warren has called out Sanders for saying that a woman couldn’t win the presidency during a private meeting in 2018. That’s a statement he has vociferously denied. In discussing it during the debate, Warren made several points about how a woman CAN win and when pressed on Sanders, Warren noted, “Bernie is my friend, and I am not here to try to fight with Bernie.”

Maybe not in front of cameras, but Warren was caught on a hot mic confronting Sanders after the debate’s close... right after she declines to shake his hand. “I think you called me a liar on national TV,” Warren is heard saying. Sanders is heard replying 'What?' and she repeats herself. Sanders offers, "You know, let’s not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion."
