Schenectady High School students are encouraging others to vote and they're doing so by step dancing. More than 30 students participated in the video where they step dance and yell out V-O-T-E. They're doing so to not only encourage young people to vote, but to also dispel the theory that their generation doesn't care about politics.

The video was created by the SHS dance department in collaboration with SPAC's Learning Library and Soul Step. During class, the students learned the steps and talked about voting. The students then recorded a video of the choreography and sent it back to the school, who put the final video together.
