“Squid Game” was one of the biggest hits of 2021, and now Netflix has greenlit a reality competition series based on the South Korean show that it says will be “the biggest reality competition series ever.” ”Squid Game: The Challenge” will have the largest cast and the largest lump sum cash prize in reality TV history, with 456 players competing for $4.56 million.

Producers for the 10-episode competition series are recruiting contestants now and are looking for English-language speakers from anywhere in the world. The show will be filmed in the UK; information about casting is on the show’s website SquidGameCasting.com.
