Investigators say Brian Bullock was free on-bond when they say he murdered his estranged wife and another man who was conducting renovations on her home.
The pair were brutally stabbed to death.
Despite the double capital murder charges, a Harris County judge granted Bullock bond last week and he’s now free.
Mary Nan Huffman notes “Judge Abigail Anastasio of the 184th District Court gave him a bond when we KNOW he does not follow bond conditions. He is eligible for the death penalty-- He has nothing to lose. Does this make any sense? The Harris County criminal justice system is broken.”
HPOU’s Joe Gamaldi adds “ask yourself, what sane person would give him a bond?...he is a risk to run and a threat to the safety of our community.”
